If you are a Windows user, then you are probably familiar with the Paint application, which allows you to edit images or create new ones from scratch. Unfortunately, even though this program is very popular, it lacks a lot of features and it's considered too simple by most average computers. On the other hand, Adobe Photoshop, a 3rd party application for editing images, is too expensive and difficult to use and also requires a lot of system resources. The Inpaint program offers you a very good combination between ease of use and number of features.

That's because it's a simple Windows application for editing photos, using a variety of drawing tools. The program's installation wizard can be completed fast by the majority of users, as it's a one click process. After loading the application, the user will see a very simple interface which allows loading a wide range of graphical formats, using the graphical toolbar or the classical menu.

After loading the desired image, the user can easily start the painting process. After selecting the desired area which should be painted, one can push the green triangle in order to start processing the image. In case one paints on a wide area on the picture, the process may take longer. The whole idea behind the program's functionality is to improve a photo and restore certain areas of it.

Using the classical menu, one can zoom in or out on the image and can also undo a certain action. After the editing process is over, the user can save the edited image over the existing one or he can create a copy of it using the same or another graphical format.

Pros

It allows you to restore and touch-up any kind of photo, using a very intuitive interface. Besides that, the program supports a wide range of graphical formats.

Cons

The program's interface can be considered too simple by certain users. Inpaint allows you to touch-up and restore any kind of photo, making it look better and giving it a personal touch.
